BBS CH 19" fitted - with pics

Featured Replies

Well I managed to pick up some BBS CHs this week and I managed to get them on last night. They look superb and the car drives much better than I expected, not crashy, not bumpy. A marked improvement IMHO

Anyway, in celebration I gave the car a wash this evening, so for your viewing pleasure:

If anything it's accentuated the fact that the car needs lowering big time! Why do they make the standard sport model so bloody high!

What do you think? :D

Very smart. What offset are they? Look to be sitting inboard a bit.

Outstanding!! I proper love those wheels. Definitely needs lowering, but the wheels absolutely pop on a black car. Commendable!

Very nice

As you say, could do with lowering to really set them off, I had the same problem

Will have a closer look when you fit my Maxidot

Cheers

Damian

Very, very nice Ben!

Have a look at damo :-) 's car to see how good they look when you go loooooooow!

Very, very nice... but... LOWER!

They're ET50, the recommended wheel. BBS do list ET35 and ET50 for the 18" version but only ET50 for 19s. I agree they do appear to sit rather inboard but I hate running spacers and so for now at least, that's where they'll stay! It'll probably look better when it's not on stilts!

Let me know when you want to pop round mate

Wow, that is stunning. Will be even more so when those arch gaps have gone.

Very very nice Ben they look well

Awesome !!

However, questions, me being a nosey barsteward:

How much?

What tyres?

What do you use to get your car 'so black'?

I always wanted a set of these but never got round to it as funds were always diverted to making the thing go faster :o:D

Absolutely love 'em..................... but (and it's been said a few times already) needs lowering bud

Now that is true wheel porn:drool::drool:

Sure sign cars are getting too big when 19s don't look massive on them! A Mk1 would be starting to look a bit silly with 19s.

I'm sure people like me said the same thing when 17s started appearing too.

Looks grand, though. Perfect match.

Looks wicked mate, always been a big fan of those wheels.

Does need lowering now though :)

They look really good, what tyre size are those running?

The rears really could do with being a bit further out, they just seem to sit a little to far into the arch. I dont think that lowering will make that look better, it may actually make it look even more noticable.

Lovely wheels.......but LOWER it:thumbup:

Ok Ben, so i've been thinking about it... So you lower the car & the wheels now fit the arches... Then you'll need something to fill the wheels ;) !

Very nice :D

Very nice wheels Shark_90. Though if I went for after-markets, I'd choose OZ Ultraleggeras to minimise unsprung weight and maximise ride comfort.

That looks awesome!!!

are they yours? and if so how much did they set you back? :D my passat sport could do with an upgrade from its 312mm i think :)

Yeah mate, got 'em fitted a few weeks ago! Let's just say that due to some wonderful people on here, and mates in local parts departments, I get them for the sort of money that made it worth doing before the original ones wore out!!!

They do feel nicer than the old ones IMHO. Fingers x'd I'll get the rears sorted soon too :D

you make me sick :P or should that be jealous  i'll have to keep an eye out for them, then again I havent seen many vRS' round our region

guessing it was a fair bit cheaper than buying a JKM big brake kit?
