Number plate - how many VRS owners have VRS in their number plates ?

Featured Replies

I was researching the plate "VRS" in NZ - it exists but has not been on a registered cars for 8 years.

Was on a Suzuki Vitara!!

VRS 1 is available :D

Was tempted at one point to get EY04 VRS (initials) but at the end of the day it would make my car more identifiable - not always a good thing :D

I spotted a bright yellow Seat Leon Cupra-r with the number plate H* VTR on it last night.

Oh dear previous Saxo owner by any chance?

I got one for £250. :)

Yer I got one on my Octy:

P** VRS

It was £250 directly from DVLA.

It hides the age of the car too as there is obviously no way it could be a "P" plate.

im lookin at gettin one its my initials the yr of the car and vrs and its only £120 :D

Is that the poloiticians answer ? :)

I thought the DVLA website was the cheapest place to buy from at £245 all in, unless you are buying it from someone you know

no there are many other sites you can get the same plate cheaper from

From your description, the style of plate your looking at is the modern style:

LLNN VRS

I don't know of anywhere that can sell you that plate - including all costs associated with placing it on your car etc for less than DVLA direct.

Actually I lie - I know of two sites that can undercut the total price by £1.

You're talking a saving of £45 - and that includes all of the transfer and other fees?

Can you point me in the direction of said site - at the lower cost I have friends who might be interested.

I use to own the ultimate Vrs Plate.............Sadly no more. :rotz:

But there were, and still are, 'bigger' vRSes that your yellow 'un, so I find that factually inaccurate :P

Pedant....

I nearly put it on the skip, would that have counted?

Is the size of 'vRS' is related to engine power output? Discuss.

:D
