That is one Ugly Car in Green

Featured Replies

Driving back from Folkestone yesterday i saw my first Focus RS. Just one problem with it. IT WAS GREEN :eek::eek:

When i first saw the pictures of it in green i didn't think it looked as bad as the journalist was making out. Now after seeing it in the flesh i understand. Why oh why did Ford do that to the car. The car shape etc is good and it looks menacing in the rear view mirror. But not when its the same colour as the Hulk. You would have thought they learned there lesson after the Orange Focus ST:rolleyes:

My advice if anyone is going to buy one. Performance Blue is your friend

Be brave and go green :P

I'd have a white one. :)

Tom you wouldn't have to be brave. You'd have to be blind.

Honestly green just doesn't do it justice.

On a side note it does sound nice as it goes past :)

Carl:thumbup:

I have to disagree.

That is one Ugly Car

Fixed :)

I'm clearly missing the hype about this one.

Guess the point of green is that it's eye catching so when on the front of a magazine or elsewhere people see it and talk about it.

It's got to be blue, and then it might end up looking like one of these one day

From London Motor show. I quite like it, but then it is under artifical lighting.

I'd like one of these but in Blue or White. 300BHP for £25K is good value. Judging by the tests, the only reason it's 0-60 is judged disappointing (if 5.9 secs is disappointing) is poor traction off the line. Once underway it sounds as though it is a devastating piece of kit:D

The colour of the pic in post 4 looks great, but the colour in post 10 looks insipid.............

I would not mind one of those TBH. I could live with it, but may be a bit too slow :)

I like the colour to be honest :D

I rather like the green too. Although I feel blue would be the colour to go for.

As for the Orange ST there are two on the road where I live and there's nothing wrong with it IMO. Quite drawn to having a car in a colour that is unique to the model in question, makes it obvious what it is. That's why I opted for the Race Blue on my Octy.

I'd like a pink one...

S'not good that. Sorry, couldn't resist. I'd have one too but only in race blue.

Irrespective of the colour your mates would still be green with envy.........

A little known fact... :rolleyes::o

The first green one posted above is the Geneva show car - it is a stronger, darker green. This, unfortunatly isnt the final production colour! The second lighter, weaker looking green shown above is the actual production version! :thumbdwn:

I saw them both side by side at the Dunton Technical centre a few weeks back and the earlier 'Geneva' green is far far nicer imo...

...even though I'd only own a white or blue one though! :P :D

I'd like a pink one...

jonny........just for you.........
