Title of thread = Maidstone Meet May 09 , - & the 9th of May is a Saturday not Friday.

I think this has been read as 9th May. and not as May 2009, as virtually all previous titles have been , month 09 , i.e jan 09, feb 09, mar09, apr 09.

Just cos you never got any sympathy when you did that whole number plate act, back of hand on forehead, girlie voice, oh,oh someone has arfinched my number plate. You nearly had Chicken leg going with that one, didn't fool me for a minute. :P

Guys I hope your a friendly bunch as i'm hoping to bend your ears for advice in the near future as i'm picking up my fabia this weekend, in return i'll be getting the drinks in at a meet or two.

Not sure if this is the right forum but the one i'm getting is due a service pretty much immediately. I used to get my S3 done by a guy called Nick Young (youngs Garage) in Wrotham who is superb. Just checking who you get yours done by. I live in rochester.

I only got my Octy last year and got it serviced by the dealership I bought it from (Caffyns in Tonbridge). It was about £300 for a service and brake fluid change. I've heard that Impossible Performance down in Canterbury will do a service with genuine VAG parts a lot cheaper than dealers, or you could try a local independent, that's probably where I'll take mine this year as I'm not really fussed about having a Skoda stamp in the book anymore!

I won't be at the next meet but may see you at the July one - hopefully with a Fabia!

Won't be able to sell the Octy until I actually own it! Which won't be until next year. But it would be nice to stay in the VAG stable with my next car...

Why not keep it when you actually own it? :P
