Hello all,

Well, after a year in the wilderness (Volvo C70, it's big, but it's not clever) I'm back to my Skodas.....got a shiny new SE Diesel vRS coming sometime this week. Previous Octavia history was an original T plate SLX in 99, an Auto Estate in 2003 and a '51 plate RS that I had from new until buying the C70 last year (why oh why did I ever sell it? Whoever now has FP51 AWG .... you got a bargain).

So, anyone in/around Mansfield that can help with a bit of light reprogramming of my new toy? I don't have VAG-COM or anything similar and would like to install a FISCON Bluetooth module so if there's anyone nearby who fancies a few beer tokens in exchange for a bit of light bit-fiddling please drop me a PM...it'll be nice to be back in the loving embrace of sports seats and RS acceleration

Hi All, We've got an issue with the electric boot (the version without the virtual pedal). It's a 70 plate that has been owned by us from new. From when it was a few months old, the boot will not open intermittently. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's opened by the button on the boot itself, the button in the driver's door or the button on the key fob. Essentially it can be heard unlock, then makes a loud beeping noise, as if obstructed, then locks itself again. It's been to t

Hello, I wanted to do some coding on a 2020 Kamiq SEL using ODIS. As the title says I was unable to code 09. I was expecting loads of Adaptations and Plain text / Long coding, but instead this is what I saw with NO options at all. Stg 03 is a similar picture. Is this an issue with ODIS? But I can easily read and code STG 03 and 09 in our SIII. My next thought was, do I want to swap the BCM for a newer or more "advanced". Are BCMs on Kamiq easily interchangeable? The 09 is a BCM A0 Std

I have a 2020 manual and I have a slight play with the gear knob at the end (please excuse the euphemism), I am able to twist the knob slightly, its not so loose that it feels like its coming off, but the main stick is not moving at all its just the end, so it’s not the actual gearbox. Is this normal or something that can be tightened, as I can not find a picture of the inside of the Mk4, in the Mk3 it seems to be held in place with a metal clip, so if the Mk4 is made the same way, I’m guessin

Adding this for anyone that comes across the same issue. Noticed a slightly extended crank a day or so ago, along with a few seconds worth of poor idle and then ran as normal. Checked for codes, and none showing. Checked plugs when I got home again and all ok. Checked the lpfp count and was at or around 50% at idle. No hesitation or misfires and none detected on scanner. Rail holding pressure within parameters and both lpfp and hpfp showing requested and actual pressures where they should b
