RARB's... help! Also- Whiteline vs Neuspeed?

Featured Replies

Got H&R springs with FSD's along with Neuspeed roll bars 25mm Front and 28mm Rear, lowered it less than 10mm, ride a little firmer, handles loads better with plenty of grip from Conti tyres,

So what about the 25mm rear from Neuspeed, if you don't intend to uprate the front? Anybody running one of those?

Seems a halfway price between the whiteline and the 28mm....

Eibach gets my vote! Works very very well and is a far better design over the Neuspeed.

Steve;)

Interested in your comment Steevie Wonder as haven't seen either installed on a car why do you say that? Have people got pics of their setups a bit concerned with the drop of the whiteline and brackets.

I agree with Steve, the eibach bar is a good bit of kit, well designed and well powdercoated, its also fitted with 2 large style jubilee clips to the beam and its 25mm in diammeter. Before i fitted mine Steve sent me some pics of his fitted, i will see if i can find them. I didnt realise they did 28mm bars too though!

Prob is getting hold of them, they seem to only sell them in a kit with the front bar (which wont fit the vrs) however you could sell this on the mk4 forum or seatcupra.net

another vote for the 28mm neuspeed from me!!!!!

hardest setting for the win

sorry to digress from thread, havent forgotten that i have got to do you a pic of my black carpet mark.....car still too dirty to do at the moment!:o

People will disagree with me, but the quality of the whiteline isn't great:thumbdwn:. If you can afford to spend extra on the Neuspeed ARB then do so:thumbup:

what didnt you like about the whiteline kit ?

I didn't like the kit at all when I first opened it up. It looked cheap, but I gave It the benefit of the doubt with all the raves from fellow members.

The anchorage of the bar to the rear beam by the exhaust type clamps didn't fill me with confidence to start with. Even though the clamps & bar were fitted evenly & equally, the holes on the end of the bar that fitted to the brackets on the suspension never aligned & I had to really prise the bar down on one side to get It aligned enough to get the bolt In, which to me would be possibly causing some sort of preload. The funny thing Is that the bar was not misshaped In any way & no matter how I adjusted the clamps I couldn't get the holes to line up together both sides:confused:.

Mine fitted fine although the kit had a couple of parts missing, but the guys at balance sorted it out straight away. The bracktets that fit to bottom of the shock bolts didn't seem to have been drilled correctly but nothing a couple of washers didn't fix. Compared to the extra 110 quid for the neuspeed 28mm bar. I read alot of reviews about both and the money was the deciding factor for me

So those of you who have the eibach why is it a better design? Has anybody got pictures of neuspeed and Eibach RARB installed interested to see them installed compared to the whiteline RARB.

Those who have Whiteline RARB's installed does the drop cause an issue as pictured in this post

I have the Whiteline and it is ok but had I waited and gathered information I would have gone for the Neuspeed 28mm. The Whiteline is cheaply made and I also had parts missing when mine was delivered. Balance where quick to sort it though

I have also had a U-bolt snap which the resulting gunshot like bang as it went nearly ruined the seat center panel.

The Eibach looks good but as is only available as a kit.
