loading CD's onto columbus

Featured Replies

Perhaps it's me being really stupid (no comments please...)..but I can't see how to load music onto the columbus hard drive from CD's.... I can't see it in the user guide (in Dutch, I'm in NL), nor can I find/see the copy/download/store/etc buton etc when I'm playing a CD...

Another classic case of user error??

thx in advance

You can only copy tracks if they are already in MP3/WMA format.

You cannot rip an audio CD, and store it on the hard drive using the Columbus itself.

yup, you need to do the conversion of the cd on your home computer. when you insert the data format disk into the columbus it will start playing, then press selection (bottom right) then navigate up the directory tree to the top level, select each folder in turn using the small square button to the right of the folder name and select copy.
