Tyres are 205/55 x 16, is that ok for a Fabia?

The profile is a bit tall.

they might rub too....i had tried a set of 16" alloys on my combi, and the rear arch's rubbed on the 55 profile tyres.... 50 was alright.

I have Montreal II alloy wheels (6.5x16) ET42 with 205/45/16 tyres on my estate and they fit rather nicely

much improved handling chracteristcs over the steelies too! God i am glad to see the back of them things....

indeed, and they will rub as someone on here found out recently. Also the speedo error introduced is quiet large, and could result in you getting a speeding ticket. At 60mph indicated you will be travelling at a real 64mph with the error increasing the faster you go.
