I was just in the process of doing it and between copying it from the previous page and getting back to this one you'd one it!

With 4 Fabia's now booked in we may be a majority on the day!!

The organisers will never have known soot like it!!

Cliff, are dc14 & co sorting their bookings out, do you know? IN fact - is dc14 coming along at all? I don't think any of them have been online recently.

If those three book in we need 2 more (1 more if Jason is coming along) to get the incentives sorted (free track tuition..!)

I text dc14 to ask him to give his brothers a shove and he said he'd give them some gentle persuasion to let us know either way - but as you say none on them have been on recently.

I defo don't think he'll be attending though as his gf is due a baby anytime soon and i think the money is spent better elsewhere - although he did mention that his Octy has gained a black vinyl roof, new front grill, and black gloss wing mirrors!

And I can chuck out Soot like no other.

You two can soot away all yo like, once I wound my car up apparently it didn't chuck a single bit of soot out all around the lap, probably something to do with me being between 2500 and 4250rpm all the time - haha

Thats a good Rev range to keep a diesel motor in when on track. You have learning a lot Ed.

Thanks - hopefully I can learn a lot more on this next day. Just got to remember to take it steady the first few times and not think I know everything just 'cause I've done the circuit before. I'll be running different tyres, the surface will be different, the ambient temps will be different... and I have got some different brake pads coming that shouldn't fade ()

Yep, I'm down with the owners club, had to book today as wasn't sure on holiday arrangements for me and the my wife but don't think that makes a difference to the group booking...

Too late to worry about that now, besides with the lady doing a bit of driving [considers fitting a boost controller...], that will keep the engine calm and the oil where it should be.

Besides, the brakes don't like track action these days so I need to limit to no more than 5 or 6 laps at a time - that should save the engine from going bang again . Need some dysfunctional hair dryers with bits of piping on the ends and sit them next to the front wheels while in the paddock area....

I'm planning lots of laps at a time.

HAHA moreso than 12 minutes around a tricky and busy circuit with no clear rules about overtaking, you mean? I got over-excited then as well. Don't happen to know anyone who might help out filling the empty spaces do you?

I'll offer PAX laps to anyone else willing to commit to this. We need 3 more people to get those 20 minutes of instructor time. To be honest, I will probably just do 2 or 3 laps with the chap for ideas, and leave the proper tuition to someone who has (probably) never been on track before.
