the entire contents of the glovebox:D

You know the glovebox is only held in by about 5 T20 torx bolts. That sucker is coming out of my car

It's quite heavy too actually! But considering I'll have a 95kg passenger for most of the day, saving 5kg here or there will be fairly pointless. :D I'll also run on a full tank of fuel at the start of the day it will just about last for the whole day and will mean I get gradually faster throughout the day anyway and don't have to go and refill with fuel :)

I'm completely removing the whole of the rear seats

summin else to go in the "maybe" van!

and while your out on track i shall set about swapping the rear bench for my non-leather clad item.....hmmm now how do i distract him long enough to get the fronts swapped over

My expensive leather seats will be staying at home Cliff :D - I'll be making the journey with no rear seats :)

Well our logistics manager has informed me that the support vehicle will now be an estate vehicle to be decided late tomorrow night - apparently we have had a van's altenator fail so the spare van ear marked for me has now been called into work action :(

However wiv the seats down it should still provide plenty of space for my 4 wheels, assorted tools/jacks from those who wish to store them and Sootie's sandwiches! :D

me too!! and no spare wheel, no parcel shelf, no boot lid trim, no rear door cards, no carpets, no sound deadening, no glovebox, no centre console, no wheels....... oh hang on I need them :rofl:

Given that a lot of the people on these track days are incredibly wealthy individuals with dedicated track weapons I'm sure our stuff will not be stolen even it's out in the open in all honesty. I would be fairly OK with leaving a couple of wheels, jack and tool kit out for 20 mins at a time. :)

Looking out the window and at present i'm more concerned about everything getting soaked rather than stolen!! ;)

and i like to be prepared and helpful but screw you Ed all your stuff shall now stay outside in the rain until it gets stolen :P:rofl:

I think Craig's SWMBO is bringing her tiny citroen AX to house my stuff actually. Lol...

is it worth me packing the Gazebo?

I'm sure if it's raining it would be cool, but only if it is easy and convenient for you, very kind of you to offer :)

On a more sensible note can i bring our meeting time forward a bit - signing on time at the circuit is 9am and google says the cirencester-kemble route is an hour, which i know is much shorter on a weekend mid-morning, but on a Friday at rush hour i'd rather be safe than sorrry

Oh and Barrie if you want to come across from stonehouse and join the convoy at Ciren you're more than welcome

Why thank you kind sir!! Time? Place?

well from the above with Ed it would appear the convoy is already 5 cars (2 Fabia's, the beemer, the Ax and TBC estate support vehicles) so maybe navigating Tescos could prove difficult!

Assuming yor coming up the A419 theres a new business park place the other side of the roundabout at the Ciren end we can collect you from there?

Of course anyone else who wants to arrive together can tag themselves on too! :D

Just spoke to Natasha, unfortunately as we didn't meet the 10 car target we won't be getting the free tuition :(

There are a total of 40 cars booked in to the day, with a 15 car on track at any time limit. She said generally the most time you will queue for is 2 or 3 minutes and getting enough track time will not be a problem :).

May I please stress at this point that your arms and legs must be fully covered, windows wound fully up and crash helmets must be worn at all times by drivers AND passengers. Passengers can ONLY sit in the front passenger seat.

Irresponsible driving, deliberately drifting around corners or actually "racing" someone else will get you black flagged and sent home.

All of the above will be covered in the briefing but general rule from my point of view is .. don't give Briskoda a bad name ;)

Good to see that Briskodians make up a fifth of the attendance!

getting enough track time will not be a problem :)

surely this depends on your definition of "enough" :D

I know it hasn't even started yet but what time does the day finish? Is it "everyone off track at 5pm" or summin?

Typically track time is as follows

9.45 - 1pm

2pm - 4.45pm

Weather is looking dry for this too.

Not sure if I'm pleased or upset about that Jason :D

Cool. See you there!!

is it worth me packing the Gazebo?

That would be lovely, we can have a proper picnic.

Hi all, VRS fluids topped up, Millers sport4 added, tyres pumped, car washed, Lisence and C.Card packed, footpump and tyre gauge loaded, camers memory card formatted, Mobile phone charged. Must go to bed early, have to get up at 5am.

Have I forgot anything?

Weather looks good now, maybe the odd shower.

Long sleeve top and full trousers Mr Soot1e. What's your real name? :D

I replaced the brake fluid, added millers power sport 4 (And will add again tomorrow when i fill up), will be bringing 5 litres of water "for emergencies" and will also have some PD engine oil "just in case" any engines burn any and need any for the journey home... :D

I need to leave at 6am but I also need to change the rear brake pads on the BMW tonight at 10pm. Haha.. wish me luck!!
