TaviaRS has posted the part numbers...keep meaning to get myself one.

But of late I've been managing to scrape my miltek pipes, so the sump I guess is well clear....IIRC they are in the region of 120, might be less or thats fitted.

its made from cheese and shreddies bonded with a touch of marmite....

but i do have one here for the highest bidder... PM me if your interested....:D

Dunno what it is made of, but it is rater weighty!

Had one on the RS, now have one on the SDI. Hit loads of stuff with it and ain't broken anything yet :D

Covers the sump and gearbox, attaches to the chassis rails.

Hey Stu,

Glad you made it here finally.

I know my dealer has intimated he can obtain one directly from Skoda and fit it at reasonable cost but I havent taken him up on the offer yet. Guess that will be one of the purchases I make once the cars finance payments are finished - along with a Jabba or Revo!

Paul..

Would that be sump wrap ?? :D

Thats bearly going to protect the sump from hard knocks from the ground surely.

Pah! Pish and Tish!

You don't need a sump guard. The sumps never touch down...

I have never cracked a sump.. ever on any car.

I would like to point out one "contact" was purely the oil sensor, the sump never made contact.

(Bearing in mind the sensor is recessed, that took some precision!)

:D

It must however be impressive that 3 of your kills were recorded with one of the highest ride heights ever witnessed on a road car since bigfoot! :)

the 4th is excusable as a badly folded rizla could have caught the sump on the baron if not driven with expert care and consideration........:D

indeed, you really need to try hard to get the 4x4 "on the deck"....

Mind you, last time had just killed an M3 and was hassling an MGZT260 at the time ;)

i was coasting and had been for 5 mins before you even came into view......

anyway to finish first....first you must finish........:P

Ah, coasting? That must be it :D

My guess is that ffelan was quite far ahead and was having a chat/play/whatever with his "daughter"

Meanwhile marginally more back on topic....
