Hi, I'm a new member. I used to buy VW's then my ex - husband bought a Skoda Octavia ambient. It was a saloon and pale green. I really liked driving it. Anyway, split up with my husband and was alone with my blue vw golf which had done 225,000 miles!!! I had owned it from new. Went on internet and researched skodas and decided I wanted the best so went for a L&K. Test drove a saloon at the local main dealer which promptly broke on the test drive!! Needless to say didn't buy that one!! I hated the tan leather interiors of the cars and could then only find one car with a black leather interior which was an estate. It was January and by the time I got to the garage, it was 4.30 pm so dark!! Never saw my car in the daylight before I bought it!! I terrified the poor garage owner as it was the worst driving I've ever done!! He took one look at the golf and we sorted out a price, I think he just wanted to get rid of me. I love my skoda, his name is Ollie (it's a girl thing naming yr car!) Anyway, that was three years ago and Ollie is a 53 reg and has now done 109,000. Saw new shape Octavia in airport hire car area, went to garage last week and have ordered a L&K estate again, it will be 59 plate, 0% finance and three yrs free servicing, couldn't say no!! Have gone with artic green met and bought silver roof rails, ipod interface and sunroof. V.excited to be getting my second skoda. Boyfriend is a bit of a car snob but he absolutely loves the new skoda. End of september, I can't wait!!
