i've always had jap cars

Havent heard of any, apart from the odd rattle in the dash or front seatbelt anchorage I belive.

Welcome to Briskoda, bikeman.

The thread below summarises problems some members have experienced with the Fabia Vrs. Don't read it and then expect your new purchase to suffer from all those faults - the majority of Fabia Vrs owners find their cars to be very reliable, albeit with the odd niggle. Major problems are relatively rare.

I did mean constant or major problems. Have to admit, that the list does look horendous at first glance, but closer inspection shows most itmes only having 1 or 2 reports. :o

Theres nowt in out TSB folder about the Fabia vRS, so either theres been no problems or techs arent sending back the defect forms.

Got a few niggles with mine but certainly nothing to be concered about, going to fix em when i do my second service when im back off training,

Had mine since the 18th of August. Nothing to report appart from the occasional groan from the rear brakes when reversing. My previous car also did the same thing and as I mainly drive forwards not a major problem :)

I did take all the wheels off and put copper grease on just to make sure I could get them off.

PS - worth a practice , taking off the wheels , not easy to align the holes !
