HTC Touch Cruise

Featured Replies

Hey All,

I'm a proud owner of a Superb II which has the Columbus Navi and Premium (rSAP) carkit. Unfortunately my phone doesn't connect to the carkit. It's a HTC Touch Cruise (2008). I've tried everything to get this thing working; including all solutions found on several forums; several original ROM's, Custom ROM's, Tools, Radio ROM's. The problem is definitely caused by the phone. I've tested several HTC phones (TytnII,Touch Pro and Touch Pro2). They worked perfectly! I've tested my phone in a Volkswagen RNS510 and the problem remains.

I'll give up for now but I'm very curious if there is somebody out there who has a Touch Cruise (2008) and has it working in a Superb. Maby we can share some info on how to get this working. I can't imaging I'm the only one.

Anybody out there? :D

Regards, Roy Kösters

I'm afraid I won't be a big help, but I too have a Superb II and an HTC Touch Cruise.

It connects without flaws, every time... :o

I must admit though: earlier this year, I have sent out the phone for repairs. When I got it back, I ended up with the latest firmware and an upgraded version of Windows Mobile (now 6.1). Perhaps that's the "solution" ?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm starting to wonder if my phone has a hardware defect.

Could you please check something on your phone for me?

If you startup Device Information in the settings menu, you can see information on:

- ROM version

- ROM date

- Radio version

- Protocol version

Could you supply me with this information so I can try to get the same setup.

I would really appliciate it! Thanks!

- ROM version : 3.13.405.0 WWE

- ROM date : 08/21/08

- Radio version : 1.59.42.15

- Protocol version : 25.85.30.07H

HTH !
