Off topic somewhat, but someone told me that it is now a legal requirement for the supplying dealer to show its postcode on the plates. If so, and you buy replacement plates, what happens about the postcode?

Personally I get very fed up with dealers insisting that it's also a legal requirement that their name be on the plate. I bought a new set of plates from Fancy Plates In N.I. with no postcodes or logos.

I was going to get this one for my new vRS before it arrived but have now decided to spend the money on something more important and be less obvious on the road and maybe less of a target for plod.

You're absolutely right. The word eikel means nothing to the english... to the Dutch however it has a completely other meaning... and acorn is not what everyone will read it as

They do indeed. Unless you get some show plates, which is what yours will be.

somebody on here was selling R50 CTY i.e RS OCTY. i was tempted, but had my plate......which maybe for sale in the near future!!! R77CH R/ R77 CHR could be yours??
