Help please - petrol in diesel

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My diesel (2.0 tdi) dsg tank was down to 65 miles left, I went to fill up and accidently put 52 pence worth of unleaded in. I then proceeded to fill up with 44 pounds worth of diesel and drove back home.

Does anyone know if I have had a lucky escape and should be ok, or do I need to get the car checked out ? :thumbdwn:

Many thanks

You'll be fine with such a small amount.
