First Yeti's Spotted at Brisky Rally Today

Featured Replies

I'm sure there will be a few snaps posted later, but it was great to think that SUK decided to debut the Yeti at our meet today

Indeed. Unusual to spot a breeding pair in the wild, I think (one petrol, one diesel).

Yes, The black one was a top spec 1.8 tsi petrol and the silver one was a low spec 103ps 2.0l tdi.

A big thank you to those a SUK for bringing the two Yetis, along with the V6 Superb, the 1960's Felicia convertible and the 1950's race car.

Well done Skoda UK  they finally realise Briskoda is special :D

I really like the Yeti just need to find out if I can get it in Yellow ,

but don't think I will get another skoda after really bad servicing from my local dealer :(

Damn, missed this was busy doing/looking at lots of other stuff and then we went, looks good in the pics though!

First time I have seen them today

Both me and the missus though they were pretty funky

Thanks SUK

Cheers

Damian

103ps 2.0l tdi.

That engine makes no sense at all to me.

Why have a large capacity engine with very low output.

The 1.6TDI would seem to be far better suited.

Yup pretty gobsmack when I told them where to park.

Didnt get to look inside them though, and am pretty gutted.

You have to leave the aftermarket tuners something to go at, don't you?

It was a 140 bhp cr tdi with lots of torque ...just what is needed in a 4X4

Excellent for the Briskoda Meet for the coup of having the Yeti's there. Personally though they not for me, think they are ugly like the Roomster and Fabia 2, but I can see there attraction for some.

I thought they looked interesting, although not too sure whether I could really see myself driving one. Well unless they did a vRS version anyway :)

Maybe not suitable or cost effective to modify for the 4x4 version, so simple solution de-tune the 2.0. Could also be trying to alleviate potential shortages like with the 1.4TSI.

It had a very spacious interior, although I was a little suprised that there wasn't a greater boot capacity. Not my thing, but nice nonetheless, and excellent of SUK to bring those little treats along!

I preferred it in blue - although the black was fine, in blue the bumper strips helped to break up the height of the vehicle.

Loved the Superb though!

Clarity x2

I was really impressed with them. Much nicer in the metal than in pictures. I certainly wouldn't mind a CR170 4x4 elegance.

Definatly looks nicer in the metal than piccies!!!

caused quite a stir when they arrived!!! :D

Surprised to see only one picture considering they caused such a stir.

There's more pics in the other threads , though it seems there were so many people in there it was hard to get a good clear photo

Thanks for posting the pictures - I like the look of the Yeti. Though I have spent too long in the Fabia 1 forum and as soon as I see those wheels I think "it needs lowered" :)

Can't wait to see one for real!

Right then.........

Better now ?

Much :D

Any interior shots?

Was nobody paying attention??? I posted some pictures up on Briskoda within the hour of them arriving on site!!!

I think they were all treating their sunburn!!!! trying to  down

What ? No grand chorus of "that needs lowering" ?? ;)

Thanks for posting the pictures, but I tend not to trawl every forum on here. If I'm looking for Yeti pics I tend to look at the Yeti forum

Thanks again, looks a nice car.

Thanks for the pics, look great, personally prefer it in the darker colour.

Looking at the photos am I right in thinking the black Yeti is likely to be an Ambition spec with optional sunroof and silver roof rails. Whereas the other is an Experience spec, also with options; Bi-xenon lights and front sensors.

Any thoughts?
