well, i bit the bullet, backed everything up and wiped my C: - now running Win7 home premium x64 - E lol.. yeah, the iso i got was the E.. which caused a bit of a headache.. as expected there is no browser, luckily i had a beta of safari in my downloads i installed to allow me to get IE/firefox installed.

So you can now upgrade from vista without a clean install????

My windows 7 DVD turned up today , so I'll be flattening this PC and rebuilding before too long.

I know an upgrade is supported but a clean install is always nice to do anyway.

Hi all, I'm looking to buy my first Skoda after years of bad experiences with Ford wet belts and ongoing reliability issues. I'm planning to buy used, and my main priority is finding a car that has been properly maintained throughout its life. Hi there, my rear box has finally given up the ghost so I'm looking for a half decent replacement. I don't want to fork out for a genuine OEM one as the seem quite pricey. In the past I've bought exhaust parts from a manufacturer beginning with a K and found them to be really poor. A mate of my son works in their technical department and he says he wouldn't use them. So if anyone has any suggestions of makes and suppliers they've found to be good quality I'd love to know. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?

Hi all, I've had my mk4.5 Octavia vRS for almost 3 weeks and while I find it to be a great car overall, there's some things that are a bit annoying. Lane assist: I understand what it's trying to do but the implementation seems flawed so it's a good thing it's easy to switch off. I had forgotten to turn it off today though and while driving down a road which is wide enough for two cars but only if you stick to the edge of the road, the lane assist kept trying to push me closer to the centre. Hi guys, I just bought a 2019 skoda scala 1.0 TSI. My infotainment is quiote troublesome. It seems it's rebooting randomly, somentimes it take a minute driving other time is fine for 15 min then freezes and reboot but it always does stop working at some point. Now I am not sure if the unit needs replacing but i was thinking of doing an update first and try to solve it that way. This is the current update i think it's an ancient one...
