If you're on here now, watch the above on BBC1 - more incident in the first few laps than the whole of the Hungarian Grand Prix - DON'T MISS IT !

Bizzare opening few laps.

Luck lucky Rossi. Still, it all counts.

??? Because the others have fallen off and he hasn't ???

You put that down to luck ???

Maybe that's why Yamaha are more bothered about keeping Rossi than Lorenzo ! ;)

Who'll go down next, Pedrosa or de Puniet ?

de puniet

Still going to get more points than his so-called challengers though (assuming he doesn't fall off again) :)

Clearly the rear gunner got mind farked by Dovi, got rattled and couldn't handle the pressure.

Falls on his **** and still comes 5th

That's the Grand Prix and Moto GP over with - I'm off to Eurosport now to see if Mark Cavendish can win the last stage of the Tou de France

Very entertaining race and very tense.

Good to see the lifter of shirts getting firmly put in his place........just a shame it hasn't hampered his championship hopes.

Good to see Dovi take his first win, Stoner/Ducati need a punch for such a schoolboy error.

Likewise those who insisted on riding over the white lines

Likewise those that crashed whilst not riding over white lines, just lacking in machine control.:rofl:

Such a short memory from the last corner at Catalunya

Can only remember Le Mans:rolleyes:

Who cares Rossi came 5th, Stacey made an excellent choice of tyre to keep my Sunday happy!!!!:rofl:

Still sticking to my original statement in a previous thread, Stacey Moaner AINT going to win another Title. ;):D

Ian;)

Great race, brilliant ride by Colin so nearly got the win  & JT kept it together this time to hold on to 6th.:D

Well done to Dovi keeping it upright to win :thumbup:

But I still think you have to admire someone who comes off, gets back on & rides a damaged machine back into 5th.

Thats why he will always be worth more to Yamaha than anyone else:cool:

As an aside great win by Mark Cavindish in Paris :thumbup: & Mr Hamilton got his first podium (a win:D:D) of 2009 good drive today.

A great day for British sport.

Nerve wracking stuff.

If you look at Rossi's record for 'offs' it will be low compared to the rest, and when he does have one it is rarely a big one.

Not bad for a 'shirt-lifter', Lance :P

And I agree with Farky - Moaner ain't gonna win another title again, too much aneamia of the backbone to cut it with the big boys

Ian, it's fortunate that there aren't any Stoner fans on here, otherwise that may upset them:rolleyes:

Yes please do foureyes, and I'll resist the temptation to rise to the dungeree, sandel wearing, do-gooder comment.

There's about 4 years of banter going on within the MotoGP threads, some of it tedious no doubt (on both sides:P), however I like to think that both sides understand where the serious stuff and jesting start and stop.

Yes I do reckon that Rossi is gay, however it's totally 100% irrelevant, just adding a bit of humour to the threads. If you don't like the humour, move on. Make out this thread is a telly and turn over. Plus, at no time have I said/suggested/implied anything is wrong with shirtlifting. It's just a bit of fun, they have the Pedrobot/Stacey etc jokes, I have the rear gunner japes.......just a bit of fun, no more no less.

For the record, bandit or not, Rossi is a class act on a bike, I just don't like him and don't think his 8 titles are as great as the number suggests, but titles they are! I've never denied his quality as a rider.

When he wins, most of the others cheer and pop at me, when he loses I do the opposite.
