Modifying My Fabia while under warranty?

Featured Replies

I have a 3 year warranty (not skoda) on my vRS and it states that they dont cover the car if it is modified and the said modifcation(s) are responsible for the failure of any parts or the actual modifed part itself.

Has anyone else got a Fabia under warranty and have done some modifications then tried to make a claim only to be refused because of a modification?

Il be pretty p*****d off if I cant touch the car with even just a few of the usual vRS mods just because of the warranty.

Warranty is basically an insurance policy. If they can avoid making a payment they will. Modifying involves changing the specification of the car.

Think you might be opening yourself up for hassle even if something fails and it's nothing to do with the mod.

if its a simple mod you're doing you could remove it if you can be ar$ed but personally I'd stay clear!
