Probably Should Be In The 'technical' Inbox But...

Featured Replies

can anyone hazard a quick guess as to why my front passenger door won't open from the outside (after the CL has been effected) anymore!

Is there any 'easy' adjustment to be made to anything before things get serious?

Cheers...

NOT A SKODA-SPECIFIC REPLY - others may have better info.

Usually there's a hook from the outer door handle to the latch mechanism which can become detached. It will be a case of door trim off and hook it back on. Job for a dealer.

LOL

Mine does the same , Im gonna ask the dealer to sort it out when my service is done (800 miles and counting....not that my car will let me forget!)

outer door handle is cable operated (could have come disconnected) but my guess is over adjusted to get to cable you have to remove door lock barrell (no need to pull of door trim) best left to dealer though as if not carefull outer handle assembly bits drop out.
