That looks spanking!

I keep thinking about doing this to mine but being as it's done 125k now i'm not sure if it's worth bothering with it or not.

Mines done 123,000 miles:D

Don't intend to change it soon.

lol

least you still remember mate, does look ace tho, you done a great job there.

Zero, 125k isnt that much mate so long as the cars been looked after. if you gonna keep it then why not make it your own?

It's been serviced every 6k since ownership and has full Skoda history all from the previous owner so i've carried it on.

Might think about doing it at some point but being as i've just bought my first house it'll have to wait a few months yet, seems to take longer to save for these things since having a mortgage!

Would it actually make that much difference to the setup i have already? or is it a stage 2 before you start to feel the difference with a FMIC ?

have you got a FMIC?

for a stage 1 mate there is not much point imo, but custom/stage 2 Id say yes you need the FMIC. I havent cut mine out and mine cools very nicely, if I went BT then id deff cut the bumper but at the min I jus cant bring myself to do it jus yet. the car would look too meen lol.

when I can afford another day to day car ill make this one my fun car but till then I will not make it stand out too much lol.

Fantasically neat job Mark:thumbup:

Beautifully done. I hate badly done mods but that is craftsmanlike.

Well done.

looking mean:devil: a job well done. Where did you get the mesh from?

A very very professionally done mod, really gives the front a mean look .

Well done mate

Peter

Looks a good job Mark. I did a similar job with what looks like the same mesh (Ebay) on my original lower middle grille. I cut out all the original plastic mesh and replaced with the thinner metal mesh. When finished it wasn't a bad job and showed the FMIC off well but it was a PITA to do!!

Really good job Mark, you really are a perfectionist!!!

It looks great, you must be really pleased with the end result, wanna swap cars;>

Looks very oem in the finish and you have matched the mesh well to your lower grills!!!

Looks awesome mate, I might just pop round and whip your front bumper off and fit it on mine! :D

wow what a great result looks very good indeed:thumbup:

fancy doing another one lol;)

I would'nt mind doing another one:thumbup:

Andy keeps asking me to polish up his engine cover so could have a few of those to do.

Yep thats the one I used, it's not bad stuff ,you just need to get it the right way up so you can look down through the vents otherwise the way it's cut obscures some of the vision. Have you noticed any increase in performance due to the cooler being more exposed?
