So, from saying to the dealer "I want one!" (and putting a deposit down to show your commitment ) to moment the keys are handed over to you...

Still, it's a good story of 3 months of desire ending with a girl I was trying to impress calling my Fabia "a joke". :(

You're right, that isn't what I meant

From "committing" to buying the car to coming in to pick it up is what I meant, but I'm sure you got that

I must have misunderstood your post there - wouldn't it be a good thing ending up with the girl? or was it the relationship that ended :(

6th September Order Placed, delivery due 2nd or 3rd Week in December :(

Saw it on 1st Sept 03, brought it on 2nd, picked it up on the 6th. Now 19700 miles of lovelyness (and thats just me!!)

11 weeks in total with Xenons & cruise control. Placed order 23rd August (seems a long, long time ago now!) & taking delivery 11th Nov. I can't wait!!!

Dealer quoted me same delivery time but not the same price!

I ordered my Red Furby vRS from Willis motors last week by phone, and it will be ready at 4 o/c.

Hows this for a good one...

I went to the Welham Green dealer on Sunday to see if i could take a peek at a vRS (Still never sat in one...) and he said;

I quote...'Ah, I haven't seen a vRS for months now, I think they are stopping them because they were a limited edition, a great car, but not many left now'

Really, I said.....and walked out.

I don't think he wants to sell cars any more :thumbdwn:

Both the Octys I've ordered from Sherlodge have been been delivered in 2 weeks.

did the deal on monday and picked it up on saturday... was on the forecourt though

would imagine the furby vRS was seen as a special limited edition untill sale sucess made it otherwise.
