Hi, to everyone out in Skodaland. I've enjoyed the site for several months and finally decided to get off the fence. Went to get my son a Felicia when the Fabia was first launched and ended up getting him a 1.4 Classic. I was so impressed by the car that I traded my MK IV Golf 90tdi in for a Rally Red Fabia Comfort TDi. The PD100 was much better as was the chassis. Succumbing to mid life crisis I could not then resist the vRS and got one as soon as they arrived in the dealers in September 03.

I ordered black first off, but bottled out of all that cleaning (I don't have the true commitment of enthusiasts like Ross), so switched to silver with roadfilm. My son now has the Comfort and keeps the red paint gleaming.

Only mods so far are Milotec stainless boot badge cover, blacking out the green "V"on vRS badges and painting "spectacles" around front fog lamps black - very sad I know, but on silver it looks neater in an Audi A3 sort of way.

Keep up all the good work and one day I might convince SHMBO to let me fit Eibach suspension.

Hi Jane - Iv'e only met one Octy vRS on the road so far - I decided to let him go first as he could see over the brow of the hill from the wrong side of the double white lines and I couldn't - is that why women live longer than men?

Won't even start the debate about who designed men and women (old enough to now I'd lose), but when it comes to Fabia vRS drivers we're all just torque and no action. Paul
