Okay... I have emailed the seller (I hope they speak English!) to make sure they will ship to Ireland - I presume they will if they ship to the UK. Thanks for the link to the fascia, and for the info on the software.

Argh I want to buy one but the mrs has said no for now too much coming out at the moment!!

As yesterday was my birthday, I have treated myself and bought one of the ebay ones like Nuriyan. Am interested in getting a rear monitor for my daughter. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get one cheap?

For anyone interested, I have uploaded some 'software' to my site, PM me for details of what it is and instructions on how to get it to work with your system.....

Hi ya, does the system feature an EQ...3/5/7 band? Are there any other options to shape the sound? Very interested...thanks!

I am also interested in what the interface is like for usb mp3's - any pics would be helpful.

Sorry been crazily busy at work, should get home tonight and be able to sort photo's out.

Hi ya, does the system feature an EQ...3/5/7 band? Are there any other options to shape the sound? Very interested...thanks!

Basically, and in a nutshell, you get the option to raise and lower bass, treble, balance much like any other stereo, Digital Bass and Loudness options, and you have preset EQ settings, rock, pop, dance, jazz and the such like, so not really a true EQ, however to be honest you can get enough change out of the options you have to get the right sound anyway.

I am also interested in what the interface is like for usb mp3's - any pics would be helpful.

Ill take the pics for you later, but the USB's use the same screen as the SD cards, almost like an Windows Explorer GUI which you can go through all the files on the drive, much like a large playlist of everything thats on there.

Now, there is only one USB port and that is on the front, however, there are two more than can be setup, but this requires taking the unit apart, soldering some points and making holes at the back of the unit.

This is what I am looking into now and will post details when I have done it, the crux of it its that I would sooner have USB drives connected via a cable out of the back and routed somewhere than have a dongle plugged into the front of the unit.

Facia arrived today but no sign of unit, hopefully will be here before Friday so I can fit it the weekend.

Coolio....

Im going through modding some of the software, MioPocket has lots of handy features but some programs switch orientation on the screen, so therefore are not useable to us, but editing the software aint too hard to do, shame Im on friggin night shifts all this week....

Got mine today

Got hit with import duty :thumbdwn:

Seems like the seller I bought mine from is no longer registered, but just having a quick look on ebay, 7 in 1 GPS doodah, but price is a little more... No doubt looking through you should be able to find them cheaper...

As for the software, it is really easy, I have put the software on my site for easy downloading and for the majority of it, its a case of downloading, extracting and putting on an sd card, TomTom needs a little tweak due to a license but that no problem either I can guide through that....

Mine arrived yesterday (I got hit with import duty also €55ish). I decided I would have a go at fitting it on a very wet & windy night last night, and found out that I will need to do some trimming of plastic behind the dash to get it to fit. So part two of the install begins tonight.

The Ebay seller sent an e-mail saying that their account had been "blocked for about 2 or 3 days due to 3 unpaid items as a buyer. It will be released soon". I'm glad the unit arrived at all!

Bloody Hell!! Im glad it arrived safe and sound, but aye, like me, you'll have to trim the fascia, if you got the same as me, you'll see the nice really weak looking legs that lock in, i found i needed to remove plastic down to them, so tricky not to snap them.

About 4-5mm top and bottom and hey presto....

With trimming the facia plate, did you only trim the bottom or top and bottom?

Installing mine on Sat, as well as blueflame and if I have time boost gauge.

Gonna be busy
