There is no Pin system in use for this device by default, but I think seen as its WinCE I can probably find someway of correcting this, I will loook into it.

But, I would challenge any nimble little light fingered wee bas**rd to try and get the stereo out. Mine has some big plates screwing and holding it in place, to which you can only get to if you take alot of the console apart..... so, unless they are gonna hack the dash apart, mine aint moving...

I had a double unit in my old car and some g*t broke in and took it out, so i have been very cautious about installing one without a removable face. Might have to take some installation advice from you when the time comes!

Just been experimenting with the unit today, shoved on a 16gb Transcend USB stick (full of music folders containing mp3's, also I put mp3's outside of the folders) worked a treat

According to the manual, features etc.

Freeview should be available (I asked about this in my local car radio store). The unit is fitted with DVB-T.

These are the TV parameters (as taken from the manual):

Frequency Range 48.25Mhz~847.25Mhz

TV display system PAL/NTSC/SECAM/SECAM_L

Audio system DK/I/BG

My HU is driving me, my pregnant wife, and my 3 year old daughter nuts. When the car is started from cold, the unit changes from whatever source it is on to IPOD (even though I don't own one), then back to radio, a couple of times until the car has done a few miles. After that it behaves fine.

Also, the sat nav keeps trying to direct me to the last destination, even after I have exited the program? To those a bit more technically minded than I, does this sound like a software or a hardware issue? I am anxious to try the Mio Pocket software to see if this will help matters.

sorry to go slighty off topic but can you tell me if the headunit has freeview. i just bought a double din unit with freeview but thats the only bit tha does not work.

I have the Igo8 software courtesy of Nuriyan. It's 319MB so I it's a bit big to email. If you PM Nuriyan, he has an FTP site you can download from. Alternatively, if you send me an SD card I will load them on to it for you.

When I received the unit, it had an older version of the Igo8 software on an SD card included.

The unit you posted is an alternate one - the one the guys have gotten is from the seller bluefly88Double DIn

The one you posted has USB and Ipod connections at the back, as opposed to the front which ours has. So it is up to you which one you go for.

Bluefly88 can be contacted via email if you dont see any up for sale.

i really want 1 of these they look cool and have all the features, got a few questions though,

1- can i gt sat nav maps to cover all of europe?

2- iv got a amp connected to subs, will this connect and work properly with the unit?

3- there is no way i could install this, im cr*p at this kinda thing, can anybody tell me where i can get it all installed good or can anybody do it for me ? (im in birmingham)

i have a similar unit but i cant get the tv function to work at all! does anyone else have this problem in the uk? (i can only get a digital signal in my area). If its just my unit i will send it back and get the same one as you guys.

Any info would be great. There is no point in me changing if you cant get your freeview to work either

Hi, been looking to upgrade from my MFD2 for a while.

Is it possible to run Garmin Sat Nav on this unit......always used Garmin, but have a portable unit running Tom Tom, but still prefer Garmin, hence the question.

Add extra USB connectors at the back....
