My new Silver vRS Hatch facelift pics

Well with about 700 miles on the clock now I am still smiling from ear to ear. I am looking forward to installing the OEM BT & Columbus once it arrives.

My thoughts so far........The power delivery of the Octavia CRD is quite different to that of my old Leon II FR 170PD which gave a good kick in the back. The Octavia CRD doesn't do this but it just pulls like a train!

I took the family for a weekend break to Scotland and did about 550 miles with an average consumption of 49MPG which is great.

To top it all off I took my Dad for his 1st spin in the new car and he said 'I'm glad you didn't buy another Diesel this time' :D

Silver now top of my list for new vRS delivery 1 April 10. On subject of suspension, does your car have std settings or factory lowered? Also does Diesel have different ride height to Petrol? Hope you are enjoying the beast.

The car is as it came from the factory on standard suspension. I know some think the ride height looks a little high but I think it's OK.

AFAIK the ride height is the same for both petrol & diesel versions.

I am very happy with the car so far even though it's not as understated as I thought it would be, it has attracted quite a bit of attention really. :D

Thats one bangin lookin ride

Any plans to fit mudflaps?

They are fitted to the front. I didn't have the rears fitted because they didn't fit. That reminds me i need to sell them.

Bootiful car - looks even better in the flesh  Nice to meet you last night - only now you've got me wondering - do I need one ?

Got to say after seeing this car in the Flesh last night it is a very very very nice car :)

Here is a couple of pics of mine. I've since had the windows tinted, just need to take some more pics once the rain eases up.

What are the part numbers as someone else has mentioned that the FL does have some that will fit?

Very nice. I think the FL works particular well in silver, having seen those photos. The front end looks great. Suits it much more than the original Mk2 IMO.

Nice! Will keep an eye out for it, don't think I've seen an FL locally yet and you're not too far away.
