Yeah, expanding foam up the exhaust pipe, Nitromors™, or even epoxy resin-ing a pigs head to the windshield :)

I presume that the above was said in jest but the OP said that he gets on with his neighbour and personally I think I'd rather pay for the damage myself than risk falling out with a neighbour that I get on with. I used to live next door to a neigbour who was a nightmare and I wouldn't want to do so again for the sake of a scuff on the car. If they're decent people then they'll probably feel the same.

No! I ment it sincerely!!

Of course he shouldn't do that..............he should pay someone!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

just caught up with this thread....hope i never pee anyone off on this forum....

you lot are scary....:rofl::rofl:

Well, I'm glad to say my faith in humanity is restored. It turns out the missus bumped into the neighbours on Friday and mentioned to them that some gits had scratched our car and scarpered. I was in the garden earlier today thinking about going next door later and the neighbour poked her head over the fence. She said "We've had a look at our car and noticed the blue paint on the scratches, so it must have been us who did it although we honestly didn't know. You should be able to park your car safely on your driveway, so once you've got it repaired give us the bill and we'll sort it out". Nice to see there are still some decent people out there

Nice result

I guess they must've learned about this thread and decided to come clean before wrath was dispatched upon them

Ok so this seems to be sorted, but for future reference fish is a very versatile tool for revenge. It can be wrapped around things like car exhausts as well as being tucked into all sorts of nooks and crannies.

No poo collection required.......

I'd go through with it just to show what happens if they ever do it again.

I suggest you knock the door and say.....

"Im just doing some repairs on my car and was wondering if I could have the paint from the the scratch on your car as it seems to be an exact match to my car"

sarcasm is the best weapon

Fair play to them.

Wayhey! Result

Maybe your neigbours are Briskoda forum readers and read all these posts and were scared to death and confessed.:)

Why? Do you like collecting poo?

If they were decent folk

he would not have to write this post in the first place

Just knock mate ,say look I just want to ask if you may have touched my car as you were coming out the drive

as you notice they have a scratch also.

They can only own up or deny.

if they deny, just sorry to have bother you type of thing.

You now know where you are with them

give it a good long space of time

maybe a year

come out with the brake fluid

and a genrouse helping applyied evenly across their car

should make you feel a little better

Glad you are getting the car sorted, Impossible they didn't know they had done it though.

This has been a fun thread to read through. I find this whole forum, dare i say it, a bit boring sometimes. Glad there are other Skoda drivers with a sense of humour.

I think we should now have a vote on whch was the "best" (funniest, scariest, most inventive) suggestion.

I liked the expanding foam up the exhaust pipe (with a looong tube so it can't be seen).

SKODA BOYS

Ha ha, yes,

they are probably sitting there not realising it was them the post was about

and very likely. have contributed to the thread.

hahahaha:rofl:

Just had a long discussion about the shavig foam with a colleague. Am probably going to try it, but we were unsure if the propellant would freeze at those temperatures - would piercing the can cause problems? It also appears that the propellant is propane, and therefore flammable. Wonder if this gives us any better ideas?

As aforementioned colleague just mentioned - just remove the thermostat!

Hmm, not sure even the best freezer will go that low. Might be able to manage it with liquid nitrogen, but then you just freeze the whole car and tap with a hammer. Bit like T-1000

Got a CO2 extinguisher handy. I know you can make lumps of dry ice by setting them against the floor, so you could probably do a pretty good job of freezing a can that way.

Mythbusters have done the frozen shaving foam. It didn't do a lot, even 50 cans wasn't fantastic. They did use something else though...
