Hello everyone.

After browsing your site prior to purchasing my 51 plate red Octy vRS, I thought I'd better get the formalities over with and introduce myself. I've had the machine for a fortnight now, and I am well pleased with it. Especially pleasing is watching the boy racers disappearing with disbelief in the rear view mirror.

I think that I have now gleaned enough info from your site to go and fit my handsfree kit. So I'll be back in half an hour when I've broken something!! :thumbdwn:

Nice to see you here. Breaking something during a hands-free installation is peanuts compared with what some members have managed to break - dare I mention sumps and conrod for starters. :(

Wots a hand free kit - is it like cruise control. I always find it better to turn the wheel with my hands, but I did learn to drive a long time ago. Paul R

Hello all, I am looking for advice from the hive mind please. We have a 2012 Fabia Scout and it needs new shocks, maybe rear springs too. Most places list these items, but they are the standard Fabia items, and I believe that the Scout has a slightly different spec suspension. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the correct items please? Many thanks in advance for advice received. Darren

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but
