Would anybody know if Skoda plans to launch a 'lighter' version than the 3.6 l with both 4x4 AND DSG gearbox (e.g the 1.8 TSI or the 2.0 TDI). Except the 3.6 l we have the option for either 4x4 or DSG.

Not sure which one to opt for..I would rather prefer to have them both.

Interesting is that Passat does not have either this option.

As far as I know the DSG isn't capable of being used in a 4x4 configuration. It can only provide a 2WD output.

Thanks, there is one DSG (with 6 speeds) that is coupled with 4x4 with 3.6l engines.

The 3.6 is only available with DSG and 4x4
