Got Rear Ended!, not so bad.

Cars going to Motorfix in High Whycombe, just asked the guy for the nearest Skoda approved place....

Anyone know them, used them?

Flippin Clio Drivers (Looks down and away from Rob) ;)

The Traffic stopped on the A40 into London near the Perivale/Ealing exit, I stopped with no need for ABS help and enough time to flick my Warnings on and like 6 - 8 foot room in front of me, but still got it in the rear..

Looks like I'll need a new bumper and a polish on the boot lid that got scuffed as the bumper creased onto it.. Just looked underneath ans the exhust shielding is a little mangled but the exhaust it's self look straight and true with all mountings still strong. Boot and back door all open as they should and the spare wheel has an inch of clearance still so hopefully the bumper is only hiding a bad bash bar and a few minor bends.

The guy at the repair organising people perked up when he read what car it was! Told me how his mate has a Fabia with a Porsche engine over on west coast cruise forums.. shall have to go have a look ;)

Just went and had another look, the panel behind the spare wheel is bent in, but not so hard it's holding onto the wheel..

Can this be pulled out or is it more serious?

Sorry to hear you got stuffed by a numpty.

Just think, if you had fitted your rear parking sensors instead of selling them to me you could have thrown it into reverse and got a beep - beep crescendo countdown of the impact:rofl:

On a serious note, watch your neck, as it can take a few days for the old whiplash to come on.

Glad your OK, spare wheel area easy enough to pull out with bodyshop power ram.

see if u can get them to throw in the parking sensors in the repair bill ;)
