Hi there - new Fabia VRS owner

Featured Replies

Hey there

Just thought that I would introduce myself, especially given the amount that I used this forum before taking the Skoda plunge!

I've had my black Fabia VRS for about a month or so now - 3,500kms on the clock - still exceedingly happy with the entire package.

I've only ever seen a couple of others on the roads here in New Zealand - they only introduced the Skoda brand in New Zealand a year or so ago, so exclusivity is pretty much guaranteed for the moment.

Anyway, looking forward to long term ownership and hopefully being able to contribute to this community.

Welcome :wave23d:

Think that must qualify you as the member furthest away from the UK :)

Hello and Welcome Pheaty,

Welcome to Briskoda. We have one other member in NZ that I can recall - MadMax, who moved from Canada to NZ a few years ago and drives an Octavia vRS.

Welcome Pheaty, make yourself at home, I'll go and put the kettle on :)

Hi Pheaty, welcome to you!

Think he'll be having a kip at the moment! ;)

Welcome Pheaty, Iv'e driven in NZ on holiday a couple of times recently and have a silver Fabia vRS which I wish I had then rather than clapped out automatic Accord hire car. Are you on North or South Island? Look for the posts about showing your Skoda against picturesque backgrounds. You should have no trouble with finding some decent scenery wherever you are in NZ.
