Wife pranged the Superb this morning

Featured Replies

Not her fault a waste lorry clipped it on a roundabout didnt stop had to be chased down to get his details

Luckily a witness saw the whole thing so claiming should be quick, the mirror is mullered and the door is scratched up and will probably need painting :( dont think a mirror will be cheap either but it could have been a lot worse

bless him , not stopping is not nice , rubbish driver obviously.

Ah bin men.. scum, scum, scummy, scum scum-scum!

Good luck with claiming!

To be fair to the bin men, they might not have even known they had done anything. A minor accident which this was may not have even been heard of felt due to the size and noise of the lorry.

Not a case then of deliberately trying to refuse to give details

To be fair he shouldve known as he hit the mirror about 2" from the door not clipped right at the end , something poss mudflap has also scraped the wing but Skoda reckon the scratches to the body will polish out

Cost for a repair to the mirror and polish the paintwork £461 , the glass isnt even broken
