'New South' steering column twin gauge pod fitted

Featured Replies

Just thought I'd share this with you all........

I've just fitted my New South twin gauge pod...at long last! It was a piece of pi$$ to fit once I had shaved a little off to make sure it went on snuggly. It doesn't even obstruct the speedo/tachometer much either!

Anyone else got one of these?

Steve:)

NO!

YES!

THANKS!

All up and running again, lets hope nothing else goes for a $hite!!

Haven't been able to open her up yet, i've only got 800miles on the clock - I want at least 1500 miles done before I give it some proper stick!;)

Steve:)

lol good job you said them the right way round mate.

lets hope ey.

Good to hear its sorted again and im getting your old pod.

Very nice, I think you're the first I've seen with a twin pod. Best place for the gauges in my opinion.

As you probably know I have the single pod one, and love it.

Nice looking mods:thumbup: ,

What are the 3 gauges in the centre console for?

3 in the middle are:

  • Oil temperature
  • Oil pressure
  • Battery volts

Top 2 are:

  • Digital exhaust gas temperature (EGT) & air to fuel ratio meter
  • Turbo boost

Hi Steve, sorry to drag an old post up, what did you stick the pod on with?

I've tried velcro but it wouldn't have it. I'm going to try really thick sticky pads next.

universal pod made to fit? have a link do you?

I used very strong double sided sticky tape on mine, worked a treat!....Just make sure it's straight before you press down otherwise you'll have a job getting it off again!!!

Hope this helps mate.

Steve

Brilliant, thanks mate!!!

Awesome mate :)

Mine doesn't seem to fit too well though...

Not sure what I need to trim off to get it fitted nicely :(

been thinking about getting one of these as the halfrauds stick on single pod is cr4p. What should I go for as the second gauge to accompany Boost/Vac though?
