Hi all, have got a Fabia vRS SE and am looking for a new set of tyres and wondered if anyone had any reccommendations into good all weather and sticky tyres.

Fabia is running 175bhp and 310lbft and the standard Bridgestone tyres let go a little too early!

Thinking about getting a set of Eagle F1 to put on the standard alloys, but any other reccommendations would be helpful

Also got Eibach springs, Koni FSD shocks, Jabba rear ARB, front strut brace from Ibiza Cupra.

Just need something to get the torque down better.......any ideas?

Before anyone say it, please USE THE SEARCH BUTTON! :( There are plenty of threads on this subject. I still think it should be in a sticky thread.

When you do, you will find the 2 most popular are Toyo Proxes T1-R and the Goodyear F1 GSD3s. I have both and can't fault them in the wet or the dry. However the Goodyears were useless when it gets cold. Snow/slush + GSD3s don't mix at all. They even struggle on hard frost. I'm not sure what the Toyos are like as I bought them just after the snow went. These are soft and sticky give lots of grip in the dry but I've been told they wear out very quickly.

Other people on here may recommend Uniroyal Rainsports or Khumos, but as mentioned do a search first.

Did you do a search for Tires instead of Tyres and therefore got no results? People on here usually accuse you of killing innocent Kittens if you do not use the search button correctly, normally if there is a thread about tyres! :eek: :rotz:
