Glove Box Under Front Passenger's Seat

Featured Replies

Have you ever noticed that there is a small glove box under the passengers seat!? I Only Found it out when i tried to move the seat forward and then a little door opend up!

Yes it's suposidly where the CD changer is on cars where it is fitted as standard. Be careful about putting in large items, I put some DVD's in there and it jammed on me- Not funny when you have 20 minutes till they are due back and you are sitting there jimmying it open with a knife and a credit card!

Some have the same box on the drivers side aswell, not sure why some do and dome dont though.

Yep discovered it when I was looking for something that had gone under the seat! Not found anything useful to put in it though

Chris

Saw it in the manual :D

Today is my first day of ownership btw, and to quote the Mcdonalds advert "im loving it" :p

Also, anyone noticed the secret compartment in the glovebox, where you can lift it up to reveal a secret compartment? [which now, by definition of me broadcasting it on a forum that thousands of people read, is no longer much of a secret eh ;)]

Cunningly designed to hold the vehicle manual in its folder.

The under seat storage is on the driver's side in my vRS as the CD changer is under the passenger seat.

There's also a cubby hole for coins under the steering column and of course a can of coke/tizer/sprite/whatever and a pen fits in the small optionally cooled 'glove box' on the driver's side.

I like the Fabia's interior.

I put my CD's in the can holder (no cases... They're CD-R's)

I try not to keep anything loose/rattly in the glove box... It currently has a hat and a pair of gloves in it!

I keep my Oakleys in the Cubby Draw (optional extra)

I keep my tools and can of tyre-weld in the cubby under the passenger seat.

I keep 1l of PD oil in the oil-holder in the boot

I too, love my Fabia!

Where's that then? I sit the velcro fastening thingy that is on the left hand side inside the boot?

I always thought that was the first aid kit/ fire extinguisher holder...

May well be, I thought it was for holding bottles or flasks?! I use it to hold be rolled up waterproof jacket in case of breakdown!

OH MY GOD... HOW OLD DO I SOUND

Wake up and smeel the roses Hicksy  :o
