Octy vRS fault

Featured Replies

Hi guy's,

My bro-in-law has a Octy 1 vRS with a fault in the engine torque sensor :confused:

Can anyone tell me where this is on the engine ? A pic would be great but a desciption will suffice. Also is it a DIY replacement or is it a VAG/Skoda job ?

Thanks again

I dont think they have a torque sensor as such :rubchin:

Is'nt torque calculated by the ECU which uses info from the MAF, throttle body, boost pressure, charge air temperature and engine speed

Sure someone will be along soon..... and prove me wrong :D

HTH

I've a feeling you're right - what's needed is a set of fault codes, as it's not the sort of thing you arrive at by accident...

oops !!! we deleted the fault code and didn't make a note of it as it had done the limp mode thing twice but as far as i know it hasn't come back again since:thumbup:

If it comes back i will make a note of it then Doh!!!
