Embarrased?

Featured Replies

Why would I be embarrassed by the car parked next to me, surely if anything, if its a cr@p car, they would be embarrassed? (If they were bothered of course)

If anything, parking next to an old jalopy makes my car look better

Apart from when you might get car park dings put in it as the owners dont care about their cars, why should they about yours?:(

And no I wouldnt, I think old skodas have this retro cool thing going for them, like old beetles.

:D How much fuel is in the tank?:P:thumbup:;)

Lol!:)

But seriously...

I get twitchy parking next to 3 door cars or even posher cars who might not give a damn and damage my Favorit

Back in the 70's my grandfather owned an old Rapid coupé and my grandmother LOVED it.

If you drove it over 40MPH it would overheat.

My grandmother was a very nervous passenger, so 40MPH was PERFECT for her.

A few years later he traded it in for a 1.3 Escort Estate which she hated; she said the engine was FAR too powerful (it could just about manage 80MPH!!

About a year after that the new owner of the Rapid told my grandfather that the overheating had been caused by the wrong rad cap being fitted. Poor granddad!!!
