New to the site, so thought i would say hi to everyone.

Im currently looking to getting myself a new skoda and stuck on choice and was hoping all the experts and current owners on here would give me some Pros & Cons

Im looking to buy myself a Octavia vRS Hatch Manuel but can't make my mind up between petrol or diesel????

Bit of insight to cars use, It's mainly my wife's car (she's a petrol head too) and does the occasional 2 mile journey to her office and lots off town driving with it being my sunday toy max miles about 7/8k (I've always been into diesels) hence why im stuck on choice.

If you're doing 7/8k p/a then I would get the petrol. The diesel is a great car but if it's going to be a toy with low mileage then I dont really see any reason not to get the petrol.
