Web design required (sussex area)

Featured Replies

The small firm I work for is looking to do something better than the website it has at present (rather 'functional'), but needless to say no-one has the time to do it 'properly' (bloomin' customers! ).

We have plenty of webspace and CGI scripts etc provided by our plus.net ISP so 'just' need someone to create the site and make it easy to update without 'too much effort' (then new material will get done!) - a couple of quotes seen so far are really just interested in charging hosting fees including 5 pop 3 email addresses (oh wow) but don't seem to be much cop at designing anything useful!

So anyone any suggestions (here or PM) on where to go, what to ask for etc - also we're based on the Sussex coast so ideally would like someone localish so we can meet them and create the brief etc.

Ta for reading and any pointers!

How much are you looking to spend, and do you have a link for the current website? :)

Rob.

Have sent you a PM, I know a guy local to you who will be able to help

If you get stuck...please drop me a PM or visit www.densleighdesigns.co.uk( WIP still sorry for the typo's )

I'm not local but I'll give you a fair overview.

Hosting is the expensive part of some deals with thousands of % markup on real costs and UK hosting.

Happy to discuss stuff from static WWW (Who What Where) sites to corporate high availability solutions and everywhere in between.
