They do a professional range which AIUI is this interface in a box with a printed manual, it however costs a lot more! (you can print the manual off i believe)

This interface will work on all OBD2 VAG vehicles right up to present day (some of the really early cars from '96/97 IIRC need an adapter)

The software you download directly from Ross-Tech and all the updates are free!

Yup, no fancy box and manual.
