anyone else NOT having problems in the snow?

Featured Replies

No real issues here until CHristmas day...

Parked car outside and went to bed to watch TV. 10 mins later my mum came in to ask where I had put my car... !?!

After another couple of minutes arguing I walked to the bedroom window to prove that it was parked where I left it (across the street)

To my amazement, It was no longer there. Instead it had decided to relocate to a safer location (bottom of the hill sideways blocking the road)

Luckily it hadn't hit any other cars - despite there being quite a few about.

The car was left in gear with the wheels turned into the kerb

Anyway all is well and the car is back where it belongs.

Was going to say that -but now -saw the Yahoo forecast ( think it wasfrom the met office) -10 -15 cm (whatever they are :giggle: ) in one part of the mids, and 15-25 to the East -and I'm on the border of East/West Mids . --And it's snowing ,And it's lieing - so for the first time I'll find out how good littleFurby can be in the snow .SWMBO and I reckon that our other love ( Tobias Barkus (a lot) ,our Cairn Terror is going to love it) .Least ways -we'll be able to see him in it -he'sone of the darker ones -if it don't get too deep .Don't envy him if it does get deep - would any male  -it's all right for all those lady dogs :giggle:

UPDATE - We got Snow on the 29th - heavy stuff - then woke up on the 30th , to rain - so no snow- so perhaps the met forecast is NOT as accurate as perhaps thought .All I've got is one well washed Furby( the rain washed off the muck they'd put downon the roads) ,and ,oh ,yes - one very wet dog .He likes to run through every puddle to see if there's a Squirrel about .And a very wet & mucky back seat - Toby regards that as his kingdom , and any bird ( small /seagul ) gets told to Foxtrot Oscar .( Mrs now wears ear defenders ,in case of bird spotting).
