Yeti 170TDI or Subaru Forrester Boxer Diesel?

Featured Replies

Lucky friend has up to £25 to spend on a small SUV, thinking of both: likes the sound of the powerful Yeti but likes the look of the Scooby better: what would you go for? Must admit it would be a hard choice for me too as I like the fat four Diesel engine the Forrester.

Lucky friend has up to £25 to spend on a small SUV,

Not much in today's money... :smirk:

Having owned a couple of Scoobies I am a big fan of them, but I would still say get the Yetiemoticon-0148-yes.gif

saw a sti forester today wow i really like

without a doubt the yeti, but i am a little biased maybe

Ohhhh difficult one...... :wonder:

Not driven the Yeti ( yet.. ;) ) but having driven several oft he old types of Forresters in the police, I'd say that they both need due consideration............................ and go for the Yeti

id say the yeti imo

I'm also a member on the Subaru Legacy owners, so you can say I am not overly bias, but in my opinion I would choose the Subaru, due to what all the guys on the forum who have one are saying about it, but one thing to know about the Subaru are that when new they do smoke quite abit, but thats due to the engine bedding itself in and that regeneration thingy it does with the emmissions..

If it was me I would go for Subaru cause it matches my image better, but it depends what he wants.. looks, equipment, practicality etc etc..

really like the subaru but not a big fan of the boxxer diesel, seems a bit flat
