Anyone know when deliveries restart after the Christmas shutdown. Is it Monday?

I was told mine was to be built the 1st week of January so I'm guessing so. I work in manufacturing but not cars and our shut down was before christmas but as per usual I may be wrong ;-)

But it's great if you're in manufacturing and can do some scheduled maintenance.

My dealer said wk1 begins 4 jan 2010.

So presume that's first day back.

Scotland has an extra public holiday for festive recovery purposes.... my snowmonster is sitting at the docks and my skoda-man has told me nothing is going north of the border until the 5th.

I've gone beyond the realms of anticipation and woe betide the perpetrators should any snags occur preventing me laying my grubby mits on me snowmonster next week!

I asked because I am soo... frustrated.

It's a 2wd CR110 that I ordered on October 16. I know it has been sitting on the dock at Sheerness since well before Christmas and my current scrappage Passat is deciding not to play fair. At nearly 12 years old and after sterling service little things are causing major headaches in the current weather.

My biggest problem is the lack of a heater fan. Now the inside as well as the outside of the windscreen ices up. I have to use a 12v fan heater on the dash just to get going in the mornings.

PLEASE Mr Skoda send me my snow monster.
