Well Im now seriously thinking about putting an order in but the last time I considered the Yeti as the family car - there was the option of Anthracite Grey - a lovely, classy colour imo. After viewing several posts on here and looking at the latest brochure its clear that Anthracite is no more. So my next thought is; whats the next darkest 'grey' and is it actually nearer the silver than the anthracite colour?! It appears to be Steel grey. I thought the anthracite worked really well with the silvery bits front and back as well as the roof bars and deler fit side sill pieces in silver - now Im not sure what to go for. :'(

Ive seen the Yeti in Silver (bland and common imo but not offensive), red - mini fire engine?, white - van and today, looked at the browny colour; muscovado. I think the brown really suited the Yeti shape but I dont think I'd actually have the guts to order it and own it. :p

So, in my mind at least, with the next best choice to anthracite being 'Steel' grey, im after photos and links of it...

Any help would be appreciated,

i originally ordered a storm blue yeti then realised that blue and the countryside aren't good bedfellows.

consulted my skoda-man and he suggested cappuccino beige....this was contentious until i saw the colour in the flesh

Had mine for 6 weeks, and may get around to getting the hose out. Aqua Blue does not show road film, but im sure you would notice lumps of mud.

I ordered Muscovado - i was torn between this and Cappuccino Beige (very good at hiding dirt).

I really thought the steel grey and silver were a bit bland and didn't suit the quirky nature of the car.

Aqua Blue and Storm Blue are really nice colours in the Yeti.

We've ordered Steel Grey for ours.

Looks good to me - if Im honest, I probably prefer it to the 'old' anthracite colour.

Think it will look pimp with dark windows and some dealer fit silver side sill bits.

The darker metallic greys are lovely colours, very classy. I'm still liking the muscovado brown though. I thought the cappuccino was a bit wishy-washy to start with but that's also growing on me (have yet to see one in the flesh). The Yeti is the first car I have come across that does not seem to come in a bad colour.

I'm even warming to the metallic purple colour (not available in the UK for the Yeti, but I notice it's available on the new Superb Estate).

I really like the metallic purple also - would have ordered that if it were available.

Black doesnt seem too popular, which surprises me given the amount of black golfs around.

We went for Steel Grey too, hopefully delivery end of January...just in time for when all the Snow has gone ??

I quite liked the White and/or Red colours as well - but SWIMBO veto'ed those choices. :(

do you know when they were ordered? as I was under the impression from Skoda literature they discontinued the colour last September, hence it not appearing in UK sales brochures.

They were ordered last year. You are correct though. The colour is discontinued so these are the last ones if you really want Anthracite.

I'll find out what the specifications are and let you know if you like.

Thanks for the info, if you do have the spec's to hand that would be great for anyone looking for this very rare colour.

Don't suppose you still have access to that very useful production chart you published last year? Is there anything different coming up after that one runs out in June, or is that a guarded secret?
