Just had my 96k inspection service...

  • Service - £124.79 + vat
  • brake fluid change - £43.48 + vat
  • PAS steering topped up 100ml - £0
  • Missing screw from airbox replaced (yay!) + £0
  • 2 new front Uniroyal rainsports - £129.80 fitted
  • 1 new air filter (not due, but I want to do it anyway) - £12.99

Total: £339.61

Clutch/brakes pedals seem much lighter, bearing in mind that I don't think it had been done for over 4 years! Although that could be because of the mk3 golf GL that i had a courtesy car with rock hard brakes and clutch :rofl:

Crikey - I paid £84 for my inspection service, £17 for the brake fluid change, and £7 for an air filter. Thats at my local VAG indy.

Good idea on the air filter bud - the 40k thing is a joke. I replaced mine as it hadn't been done in 30 odd thousands miles not long after I got the car and instantly saw my fuel economy shoot up.

They were the cheapest for me in my local area out of the 3-4 places i actually trust! Was a local vag indy :)
