fm transmitter jobby

Hi all,

As a proffessional product designer im ashamed to say ive been very impressed with my recent plasticy £10 purchase.

Its an FM transmitter thingy, but for one diffence; it takes a usb stick or SD card as the music device, which means if you are like me with several knackered CDs from all the changeing and no mp3 player its ideal

As i mentioned the quality isnt perfect but the sound quality is much better than any other FM thingy i have tried before and it sits next to the gear stick in the power outlet and is very descreet, all in all a nice little product, even comes with a remote.

That looks pretty smart to be fair. I've allways had the iTrip to plug my ipod into.. and they're rubbish really. Crackling and just generally annoying to listen to my ipod through.

Agree regarding ipod/itrip, had one ages ago and it wasnt great, i just like the "no-wires" benifits of this cheap set up. suits me perfect. The sound isnt cd quaility, but not obviously hissy or anything.

Also, make sure you use a relatively empty usb stick, the 1st time i tried it it took forever to get going (usb stick just flashed for ages), i then deleted all the rest of the stuff off using my pc (about 200 images and a few powerpoints) and it played the music straight away.

Hi again

Thanks for the info, I also had a problem with a usb stick that I got off my son, who had got a pack of three, I put some tracks on mine, and it

would not play, he tried one of his and it worked fine, I added my tracks to his and was ok, and he told me the one he had given to me

worked ok in his player.

so all was fine !
