Anglesey, end of november?

Featured Replies

Afternoon all

I remember seeing something about a track day on the Anglesey circuit at the end of November. Being that I live about 20 minutes from it I was wondering if I could come along to see some remapped cars in action, before spending the money myself! :)

If it is full then nevermind...

Cheers all

Chris

You mean in this thread? :D

Not sure if the actual track places are full - you'll have to look on the Bookatrack site. Spectators (especially if you have a camera and would like to take some pics) very welcome. If you bring a crash hat more than likely you will get some passenger rides too

Have a look on bookatrack.

If it's full come along anyway to meet the gang and get some passenger laps.

Thanks for the replies fellas.

Had a look on the Bookatrack website and there are spaces available. However, I think I will come along as a spectator this time to get an idea of what it is like and to act as unofficial photographer!

Will bring a lid in case anybody is happy to give me a passenger lap ;)

Chris

Thought it was full? I have an XL helmet free for sharing when I'm not on track. Will also offering laps to see how quick a measly PD100 car can be made to go. ;)

I may have to borrow that off you Jase if I don't get my lid in time.

Try Chester Zoo Sinndrift...sure I've seen elephants go karting there! :D

 No problem Andy - I also suffer from "Fatheaditis" and even this XL helmet is a very "snug fit" :D

Feel free ;)

More cameras means me track time for me & 1 or 2 others who normally do the pics for these Briskoda events.

I'm sure a passenger lap or 2 can be sorted :)

Your more than welcome to have a few laps with me

Lee

note for all passenger laps, bits of disclaimer/waivers have to be signed. I don't think kids are permitted and AFAIK there is no fee; but they maybe now.

From Bookatrack.com T&C's..

Passengers & Spectators

What is the minimum age for passengers?

All passengers must be 16 years old or over.

What is the charge for passengers?

We do not charge for passengers, but require them to sign our indemnity and obtain a wrist band. All drivers should assure that their passenger is wearing a wrist band. Passengers must also have covered arms and legs when out on the track.

What is the charge for spectators?

Again there is no charge for spectating, but we do ask that you make yourself known to us and sign the indemnity.

 @ Geoff... I was starting to smell something similar too! ;)

Anybody (anybody meaning experienced track drivers) care to take me out in my car to show me how to drive properly or is that asking for trouble......

Wasn't particularly intending to inspect the underseal though...
