Ok i've read the guide before anyone says or links it but my problem is thus

I ordered the Seat Cupra bushes for my Fabia VRS. All of the pics in the guides show people having to press them into the metal outer casing on the wishbone. The bushes i received already have the metal casing around them. Do i need to remove them from this metal casing and then press them into my original casings?

This isn't mentioned (well not that i could see) in the guide. I've been advised to change them and was quoted £60 by the garage round the corner from me to fit them but tbh me and my mate are more than capable of doing them ourselves

Any help? Really want them changed or i've spent £13 for nothing

Metal casing goes in n'all fella! Good luck, think theres a way of getting them in with a ratchet strap or something - it helps anyway.

Don't remove the metal casing on cupra bushes, these fit tight into the void in the console, just remember to use some lube washing up liquid is good.

Was thinking washing up liquid, used it loads before when fixing and fitting stuff to cars

Lube and a ratchet strap.................. haha

As above. Pull into position with a big bolt, two plates/bars and nut. Easy and slow. No problem.
