Its A Sad Day

Featured Replies

:( its a sad day today for me , today is my last day of ownership of my octy vRS tdi , gave her a last wash / wax / hoover today

Been a really good car to me , seriously having second thoughts about selling her :'(

I am changing to another Skoda , i am getting a candy white octy vRS facelift c/rail delivered in the morning but i dont know if i,m doing the right thing :wall:

My current car has 42k on the clock , warranty runs out in sept 2010 , maxidot , rear parking sensors

New car is an ex demo with 9k on the clock , reg July 2009 , has xenons , rear parking sensors , auto lights & wipers , maxidot

PLEASE TELL ME I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING

Only you can answer that, but probably yes, hang on to your existing one too long and they are not worth much

if you want to change, but then again you've taken the biggest hit already on depreciation, assuming you bought it

new, I don't know now :S  sorry

I hope so , strange thing is this is the only car i have grown attached too . . . sad or what :'(

I may be biased, but looking at the links I'd be looking at the blue one, it's listed considerably cheaper with less miles

Edit - sorry, misread your post, second link is dearer but that's not the one you're buying, my mistake.

having said that the blue one has (half) leather seats

Blue is best. LOL. I think you'll really enjoy it Martin. If you can afford it then enjoy why you can. The CR engine in my dad's new car is very smooth.

Well 10/10 for Murray Skoda , they delivered the car this morning at 07.30 :o driver set off at 01.00 (he looked knackered)

Apart from needing a good wash from the long journey the car is super , think i made the right decision in the end although when mine went i was sad to see her go , but got a new baby now to pamper :p

Let me know when you're getting your wash mitt out and I'll drop the Superb off :)

It came from Plymouth. Not sure if that's the same one you're talking about?

Yep its the same dealership , one in Plymouth & one in Newton Abbot , think the guy who brought the car up said they were a big VW dealership too

I know how you feel. Its the same with the fabia I know I need to sell it but I just cant bring myself to say good bye..................was ready to let it go as p/x but got cold feet at the last moment and basically ate into my savings.

Hope you enjoy the new girl!
